Bank statement exports typically include transaction date, description, amount, running balance, and reference number. GL records include posting date, account code, description, debit amount, and credit amount.

Matching these is not a simple VLOOKUP problem. It requires matching on multiple fields simultaneously: date range, amount, and approximate description.
